Summers and Vine are a Sutton Coldfield-based dog groomers, who create a relaxing environment for you and your dog. As well as offering grooming, they also carry out free health checks to make sure your dog is healthy.
The brief: a brand with a luxury and professional feel
Summers & Vine came to us as a new business and wanted a name, brand and positioning with a luxury feel to it, which stood out from other dog groomers in the area.
What we did: research and branding
Before starting the naming and brand process, we spoke to Summers & Vine in detail about their business, their ethos, and their offering. This gave us the insight we needed to make sure the brand we created represented their business correctly.
The next stage was to review and get a good idea of their competition. Having a good idea of their marketplace means we can make sure the name is right for the business and that the brand we create stands out, instead of blending in with all of their competition.
Knowing all of the above, we followed our naming process to create the name 'Summers & Vine'. Once the name had been chosen, we moved on to branding and positioning to make Summers & Vine look welcoming and luxurious. Our understanding of the business also helped us make sure their brand and copy positioned them correctly as professional and knowledgeable, and understanding of owners who have had bad experiences with groomers in the past.
The Summers & Vine brand positions them as a luxury, professional and friendly dog grooming salon.
We then applied their new brand to business cards, stationery, signage, and flyers. Summers & Vine also asked us to set up their social media pages, and design and develop a website for them.
