Client: WKD Trained Dogs
WKD Trained Dogs are a stone-based business who source and provide people will fully-trained family dogs. They also provide residential training for people who are having behavioural issues with their dogs.
We have worked with Matt and the team for a couple of years now after they first came to us for rebranding. Following rebranding, we designed and developed their website, designed stationery, provided them with ongoing marketing consultancy, and more.
The brief: to rank in the top four search results
Following rebranding and the development of their new website, WKD Trained Dogs recognised the importance of search engines and content marketing.
Their managing director, Matt, challenged us to get them into the top four search results for important keywords within a few months.
What we did: keyword research and copy creation
Using keyword research from the rebranding stage, we began to write high-quality copy that would appeal to their target audience based around phrases WKD Trained Dogs wanted to be found for.
To aid driving traffic to the website we promoted their blog posts on social media.
WKD Trained Dogs were ranking in the top four search results for important key phrases before their deadline. For many of those phrases, they were ranking first or second. They quickly began to receive inbound leads through the website, and now all of their leads come inbound via the website.
They are now so busy, due to leads from the website, that they have a four-month waiting list for trained family dogs.
We continue to work with WKD Trained Dogs to create high-quality, interesting copy for their blog, which is still helping them perform strongly in search engines. We also regularly meet with them to discuss their marketing strategy.
