Thank you, Richard

  • Today is the last day Richard Brooks will be representing the marketing people to the regions business community, large and small.

Richard has grown the awareness of the marketing people throughout the Midlands and introduced me & the team (and the marketing dogs) to what are now clients.

Below is a copy of an email Richard sent to me today, we all sincerely wish him the best in his new role, and will maintain a close relationship, both professionally and personally.

‘My interest and understanding of business growth, plus a desire to help businesses succeed has increased exponentially as a result of working with The Marketing People.

As a result, I feel I need to provide a huge thank you to David Mitchell & the team @ The Marketing People for my development and their understanding of my decision. This is a business that I sincerely believe are the very best at what they do in the field of marketing, brand, strategy and all of its associated outputs. I would not have been able to work for them without believing this was fact. I will continue to recommend their skills, expertise and professionalism as a result.

All of those who I have contacted and with whom I have formed a business relationship on their behalf, I urge you to continue to stay in contact with The Marketing People’s MD, David Mitchell (FCIM) david.mitchell@themarketingpeople.com 01543 495752, or any other member of the team for that matter. It was my job to introduce you, but they really are the experts.

Through business networking and a genuine interest in how industry and commerce operates, we are in agreement that a move into the wider area of ‘regional business’, was a clear and natural career progression for me.

I will be going to work for The Black Country Chambers of Commerce. A business region who’s history is very close to my heart, stemmed from my family’s roots and as a proud Saddler, UTS. Once more I will be bringing all of my experience and knowledge to bear for this new challenge.

I can’t help feeling particularly odd today, as I will be leaving what I consider to be a group of real, genuine, like minded, friends, family and extremely talented business people.’
