‘Tis the season to be jolly, so why not show your customers how much you appreciate them by sending branded cards?
So what are the key benefits?
A well designed bespoke Christmas card is unbeatable and will bring your business front of mind to all recipients. Whether its pictures of your team dressed as Santa or the office dog in disguise as Rudolf or a more traditional snow festooned pine tree, good memorable design either printed or digital works.
Helps to build and maintain relationships
We all know how difficult it is to keep in touch with all your clients all of the time, a bespoke Christmas card is great for saying hello to a client you’ve not spoken to in a while, also it’s a great way of adding a little extra thank you for the clients you are dealing with right now.
An opportunity for a conversation or sale
Of course sending out branded Christmas cards isn’t just to wish everyone a happy Christmas! It’s an opportunity to open conversation which could mean more sales for your business. Any talking point for you and your clients holds potential.
Greeting’s Cards Q&A
So now you understand the benefits of sending out greeting’s cards, you’ve probably got a couple of questions, such as; printed or digital cards? And can I say ‘Merry Christmas’? Luckily for you, we’re here to answer those questions for you!
Printed or Digital cards?
There’s no right or wrong answer here, however there are a couple of things to take into account when deciding.
If your business promotes greener living or being eco-friendly, sending printed Christmas cards out might undermine your values, so in these cases it’s probably better to email them.
Emailing your Christmas cards may also be the best choice if you have a large number of customers, especially if you have international customers.
If you have a small customer base and they’re people you talk to regularly, sending a printed card would be much more personal.
Can I say Merry Christmas?
This is always a tricky decision as you don’t want to risk upsetting or annoying people with what you consider to be a gesture of goodwill. If you want to err on the side of caution, consider using Happy Holidays or Season’s Greetings.
If you want to be completely safe, then simply thank your customers for their business over the year and wish them a Happy New Year.
We recently created a Season’s Greetings card forEast Midland’s based care company, Quality Care, to post out to their customers.
