Client: Watts Professional Catering Services
Watts Professional Catering Services offer numerous catering options for a variety of events. Using their 35 years’ experience, they can not only provide the highest quality food, but also help you with the planning of your event, all for a reasonable price.
The brief: Rebrand and Website
To enable Professional Catering Services to change the current perception of the business and its offering in a competitive marketplace. To engage more effectively with potential customers to encourage them to make contact when looking for a professional, reliable and good value caterer for any occasion or event. And to reflect the experience and talent of Head Chef Brian Watts and his team to ensure potential and existing customers understood the difference between his company and competitors.
What we did: Rebrand, Stationary Design, Web Design and Development
Though Brian did have a brand for his company in Professional Catering Services, it didn’t quite show the expertise, professionalism, and service that you could expect from Brian and his team. Once we had got to know Brian a little better, we had researched the market currently available, and what we know Brian’s target audience would appreciate, we were able to create the new Watts Professional Catering Services brand.
After the brand was created, and we had some great feedback from Brian, we were able to create his business cards, both for him personally, and a team card that could be carried by everyone. Offering more opportunities for the business to be promoted. We also applied the brand to letterheads to ensure when menu options and confirmations are sent to customers, they carry the same standard as the rest of the brand, allowing customers to have the same experience at every touch point.
The original website for Professional Catering Services just did not do justice to the services available. With very little content, scattered pages, and quite an unfriendly experience for users, we had a lot of work to do to make sure their new website did justice. Looking at the subjects that Brian wanted to cover, we were able to create a site plan that would mean an easy to use navigation, with clearly titled pages that covered all the services offered by the company. Following the agreed brand visual, we graphically designed the pages, developed the website and blog and tested the site during development, whilst also managing SEO elements. From menu samples, past marketing and a profile, we were able to create content for each page with SEO in mind, which encourages prospects to get in contact.
We also provided Brian training on how to update his website, and add pictures to his new gallery. So throughout his events, he can add quick snapshots of the beautiful plates he’s producing before they’re demolished by hungry guests. We will be coming together with Brain soon to also provide blog training, so whenever he gets a spare minute, he can update his customers and potential customers with what he has been up to, and tips and advice for running great events.
A brand which represents a professional company who provides the very best in catering services, from qualified specialists with experience, and a passion for quality and service for its customers.
